Create a Subblog
A Subblog is a full blog hosted at yourname.nibgate.xyz. It gives creators a ready-made publishing platform with Nibgate gating, analytics, and discovery built in — no separate site or custom integration required.
Subblogs are currently available by request. DM us with your desired subdomain to get started.
What is a Subblog?
A Subblog is a complete, hosted blog on the Nibgate hub. Unlike the standard Nibgate model where content lives on your own domain, a Subblog lives on *.nibgate.xyz and uses the hub’s built-in publishing tools.

Admin dashboard
The Subblog admin dashboard is the control center for your blog. From it you can:
- Create and edit posts using the content-type-specific editors.
- Manage media — upload images, audio files, and manage cover art.
- Set pricing — mark posts as free or paid, configure USDC price per post.
- View recent activity — the dashboard shows a “Recent activity” panel with live totals (views, unlocks, payments, ratings) and recent rows, powered by the hub ledger.
- Manage tags — organize posts for discovery and filtering.
- Set cover images and excerpts — control how each post appears on the blog homepage and in Nibgate Explore.
Content types and editors
Each content type has a dedicated editor experience:
| Type | Editor | Media |
|---|---|---|
| Article | Markdown editor | Inline images, cover photo |
| Photo | Image uploader with gallery builder | Multiple images, captions |
| Music | Audio upload form | Audio file, cover art |
| Video | YouTube URL input | Embedded player |
See Content Types for detailed documentation on each type.
Payment setup
Paid posts use USDC gating. Each paid post can have its own price. The payment flow is:
- A visitor lands on a paid post.
- The unlock UI shows the price and a connect/pay button.
- The visitor pays USDC through the Circle Gateway on ARC testnet.
- The content is unlocked and the creator receives the funds.
You set the price per post in the admin dashboard. Funds go directly to your connected wallet via the Circle Gateway — Nibgate does not custody earnings.
Cover images, excerpts, and tags
Each post can include:
- Cover image — the hero image shown on the blog homepage and in Explore cards.
- Excerpt — a short summary displayed alongside the cover image.
- Tags — keywords for filtering and discovery on the blog and in Explore.
These fields are set in the post editor and can be updated at any time.
